Professor, University of São Paulo - Oceanographic Instituteo

PhD in Chemical Sciences and Professor at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo since 1996.

Her research area includes the impact of pollution on marine and antarctic environments generated by wastewater, plastics and persistent organic pollutants (POPs).

She has published 84 scientific articles and contributed to the training of 8 doctors and 12 teachers.

She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Brazilian Journal of Oceanography.

She is currently vice-president of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Research in the Antarctic Environment (INCT-APA).
